Since its foundation, Sharps Pixley Ltd. has played a key role in London‘s gold market. The company emerged from the fusion of two London gold merchants whose roots reach back to 1778. In November 2013, the German Degussa gold trading group took over the brand with a view to making it easier for investors to access the physical precious metals in one of the most important global markets for gold.
